This mission is reflected in English for Afghans, a complete nine-stage self-study programme for Afghan learners worldwide, including newly arrived Afghan families in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other English-speaking countries. Its free PDF books help learners access structured English courses at no cost and study independently, even without a teacher.
Founded by Hamid Wardak, a Cambridge English-qualified teacher, the platform builds on his teaching journey from Afghanistan to the United States and then to the United Kingdom, as well as his experience in English language education, international business, research, migration studies, professional communication and language assessment.
